May 12, 2011In the 1980s, residents of Summerville began honoring Howard Finster on “Finster Day” each year. Now an annual festival in the late artist’s honor attracts bands, artists and fans from all around the country.
This year’s Finster Fest takes place on May 14 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and May 15 from noon to 5 p.m. The free festival will be at Paradise Gardens in Chattooga County.
